SBCAG, as the Airport Land Use Commission for Santa
Barbara County, is currently preparing an update to its Airport Land Use
Compatibility Plan. The Plan will serve as a tool for the Airport Land Use
Commission to review land use plans and development proposals within Airport
Influence Areas. Also, the Plan will provide land use compatibility
policies and criteria applicable to local jurisdictions in their preparation
or amendments of General Plans.
